Expertise under hand and seal

In the horse world, there are a lot of self-proclaimed "experts", "assessors" or "specialists". These labels are not protected by law, so anyone can call himself an expert. Only officially audited "publicly appointed and sworn authorized experts" can guarantee independence, trustworthiness and competence – and only they are permitted to use the seal and are listed in the IHK's (German chamber of industry and commerce) expert directory.

In 2008, I demonstrated my abilities stemming from 35 years of experience with horses in front of the Bavarian State Ministry for Nutrition, Agriculture and Forestry. For this, the Upper Bavarian government awarded me the designation of "publicly appointed and sworn authorized expert for breeding, keeping and assessment of horses (including sport horses)".
